Default OT: What would you like this Christmas?

It can be anything, not just musical, as long as it really is a possibility. Myself, I'm hoping to find a good Strat in my price range.
How about you guys? I'm curious...

Happy Holidays to you all,

~Roy

Jeremy,
I don't mean for this topic to sound pompous at all. I surely can identify with you, because my father was in the same position at some crucial times in my life. So, I really do hope it works out for him.

~Roy

p.s. 'What you would like for Christmas' doesn't have to be a 'thing', it can be a situation, occurance, whatever...

Talent! I took six months of piano when I was a kid, and I was lazy and stupid (aren't we all at that age), and I really can't play well. I have an 'arranger' keyboard, a Korg PA-80 (same sounds as the Triton) and Pro Tools, and I'll never be able to use either to it's fullest capability because I don't have the talent.

I remember one of Keyboard magazine's Song Contests, and the winner did it on a Korg M1, which at the time was not state of the art, yet the guy had all sorts of talent, and was able to work with what he had. I have state of the art (almost! ) and the 'music' I make is fun , but it isn't really that good. Oh, my friends are impressed, but I know the difference. I'm going to have to start taking lessons again, at the old age of 40-something!

Other than that, the usual, Peace on Earth, people living together, caring for one another, and about one another, doing their best for one another. Remember, without people, we'd be awfully lonely! So treat them the way that you'd like to be treated.

Gary

Well, lemme think...

Since I got some music gear already for christmas (ie: Sonor Drum Kit and some new mics) I guess I'd just like a little more time to finish my basement studio/entertainment rooms.
