Default Transferring sessions

I need to burn a session to be opened on another system. I run PT LE on Windows and the other computer is PT HD on OSX (where song is to be mixed). Both PT versions are 7.*

Could I have the definitive process for how to burn this session to DVD for transfer onto a MAC running PT HD. Any help is much appreciated.

In Pro Tools 7 there is no "enforce PC/Mac compatibility" to worry about any more, it's done automatically.

So, providing that you are familiar with burning process for a DATA DVD on windows, using whatever program you have..

You might want to visit page 36 of "The Pro Tools Session Guidelines For Music Production"

available here:

There are a couple of different ways, with variations. It hasn't changed much since the last time you asked..? your question already answered

If you have any concerns about translating your PT Windows session to a Mac use the Save Session Copy In command in the file menu to a new folder with all the audio, plugins and folders and keep the fades as well. Copy that folder to a Toast or similar DVD burning software and burn with Mac/PC compatability checked and you should be good to go. (It also writes the session data anew so the session should copy to the new system contiguously.)

Night Train has it right. There should be no issues with Windows on PT 7.x. I have not had any problems on that score.

But let us know how it goes.
