S1 teardown?

Does anyone have pics of what the S1 looks like inside? I'm looking at options to modify mine to drop into an 8 fader bucket of my console. It's about 1/4" too wide currently with the existing and unmodified enclosure and I'm looking at options to make it fit

I really wouldn't recommend this! But there is a space at the edge where the magnets are.

Meaning that there's space to shave the chassis down? I'd love to at least see what's in there. I'm surprised that I've been entirely unable to find any pics of the inside of the unit

Why don’t you modify the bucket of your console rather than destroy a perfectly good S1?

Eight channels of an API console are 12" wide. There's not a great way to make it any larger, other than to use up the space of a ninth channel
