I'm trying to sync my click/tempo marker with a track of imported audio. As in.. I've just taken an artist's cd and imported the track I wanted to do some additional work over. I used a metronome to tap out what seems to be the tempo and put that value in as the tempo marker but it's not dead on so whenever I do additional programming to put with the imported track it isn't tight. Can pro tools read what the tempo is on something so I can put that value in as a tempo? Is there something I can do with beat detective?
Since it's a track from an artist's cd the original wav files are not available to me... I'm on an mbox 2 with pro tools 7.0 and a 12" powerbook with an 867 MHz powerpc G4 with 640 mb of ddr sdram. ANY help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, -A |
