MIDI EFFECTS (Not Audio Effects)

Hi,

I was wondering if ProTools supports 'Midi-Effects' (not audio effects).

MIDI effects process MIDI messages prior to routing the MIDI data to other VST instruments or hardware devices; for example, to transpose or create arpeggios or even... Crazy weird experimental progressions, etc...

Structure claims to support Midi-Effects, but I can't find any video or support for this.

Supports up to 128-level multitimbral playback per Structure instance and an unlimited number of parts, audio effects, and MIDI effects per patch

I do not want to buy Structure unless it supports this.

I know Midi-Effects are supported in Cubase, but do not want to switch.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Read about the "MIDI processors" and see if that is what you are looking for..

I don't think they are like "plug-ins" in how they are implemented, but they may act in the way you are looking for
