Default Pro Tools Online Courses -- Are They Worth It?

Hi All,

I'm new to Pro Tools and am wondering what you all think about the Avid-offered Pro Tools courses? I'm looking for a way to quickly bone up on my Pro Tools knowledge and skills, build a solid foundation, etc., and am wondering if anyone here has taken any of the basic courses and if so, are they worth the time & money? If they aren't, what do you recommend instead?

I've tried watching the free beginner tutorials offered here, but due to the truly horrible image quality I literally find them unwatchable (I've tried viewing them on both my computer and iPad with the same results).

I know that there's a gajillion free "how to" videos on YouTube, which I'm not averse to viewing, but my ultimate goal is to build a solid foundation of Pro Tools, not just have a spotty knowledge base.

Thanks taking the time to read this and for any suggestions!

-Matt

I've not see the Avid offerings, but a year's subscription to Groove3.com would be my suggestion

Groove3 is having a sale right now on their courses bundles right now too. There is a Protools bundle that is $48 if you don't want the yearly all-access pace
