Default Portable recording(vocal)booths--any input please???

Need a pro portable recording booth because construction isn't a option. Any help or ideas are much appreciated. Not trying to spend a arm and leg if possible but want good results and also won't take 2 weeks to put together. Thanks in advance

(not making a vocal booth) but you can combine materials and come up to a solution.

Also you can check this out:

At the bottom of the page, not a full booth exactly but Isolation.

The Vocalbooth.com link provided by mix109 is a complete solution.

Here is a good spot for info relating to studio acoustics and treatments of all kinds. A discussion there may provide many options:

I would take a look again at the Auralex MAX Wall 831 (almost 1/3 down the price)
much easier to assembly/deassemb)

I have a vocalbooth.com isolation booth (the VB Silver Series 4x4 w/a 3'x3' glass window, ventilation kit, single wall construction build) and it has served me well for years! One person can easily lift and move the walls, except the wall with the glass window-you want to two people on that one.

Check craigslist (and possibly eBay), I found mine on craigslist, and scored big time. A guy had purchased it brand new, owned it for a few months but decided to move back to the east coast and need to get rid of it. It was in excellent condition and I got it off him for $1700 (it retailed $3900 brand new-with all of the accessories I listed above, and still had like 7 moths of warranty left on it).

Also bear in mind if you order one brand new, freight is going to cost around $600-$700 alone, depending on where you live.
