Default Background colors on tracks and clips

I have been not liking the 2021.10 release I know you can customize a lot of the color scheme but I miss the simple and effective way to have all tracks colored differently, how do you do that in this release help! Thanks in advance!

You can always change back to classic color mode (as opposed to dark mode) in preferences.

I think he's asking how to color the tracks themselves and not just the tabs. Used to be saturate and it had a slider on the color bar. That is not there now. I would love to know, too...

Double click on the color bar on the individual track, and it opens the color palette. You can color the track, selected clips in the track (great help when you’re editing dialogue) or just the color bar.

Figured it out! You have to increase the Saturation setting and then it makes the background on the tracks colorful! Enjoy!
