Sony oxford Plugin +2 Doepfer Drehbanks = analog mixer?

Is this compatable with the sony eq plugin? I would like to create "virtual channel strips"
using two doepfer drehbank units
[which should give me 8 knobs per channel (16 channels)]

I cant stand using a mouse or procontrol... they both stink for live applications.

would I be able to tweak 2 eqs at at once??

Hmmm,,,, I would also have to reset the knob positions every time I turn on my computer.. there should be a midi standard out by now for led knob communication...

Issnt this what we all want??? to be able to have 128 dedicated knobs for eq?

I don't believe that this would work. You could certainly get some degree of control, but none of the current controller "personalities" support MIDI control of mulitple plugins simultaneously. I don't think the ProTools midi spec can handle it.

yeah. if the protools midi specs were that good they wouldnt be able to sell procontrols... lol/.
