Please help.. Bouncing problem?

Hey.. I'm using pt11 on windows 10 and has been for some years now.

I'm making hiphop beats and never had this problem before.. The thing is that the beat I made recently..when I'm listening to it in pro tools and I'm done mixing, everything sounds the way I want it.. After bouncing it and listen to it somewhere else.. (phone w headphones, car etc..) the kick just isn't there anymore.. And also the 808 is much lower.

The rest of the tracks are fine..

In pro tools the kick input is pretty high.. But I lowered it a bit.

What is going on? I've never had this happen before. Please help.

If you plug the same headphones into your interface, does the mix sound OK coming direct from PT?

Double check you haven’t changed any settings when bouncing. ie: bouncing to mono.

What file format are you bouncing to and playing elsewhere?

I'm always using headphones so yea it sound OK in pt

I couldn't see anything that's has changed when I'm bouncing.

Bouncing to wav and mp3.

So... I tried to not use offline bounce.. And now the tracks are all as they should be..

That's great but I would like to know why this happened..? I always bounce offline and has always worked fine

Test another session. Does the same thing happen?

If not, are you using different plugins on this session? Could be a plugin causing the issue.

Could be many things. Pretty hard to diagnose with such little information. Your best bet is to do some troubleshooting. Will help you in the long run.

I bought Soundtoys Crystallizer and used it for the first time on this session.. Thats the only plugin that I haven't used before

Look for other recent threads about this. There currently are some problems with offline bouncing where the plug-in paths change or only let through the left side. Offline bounce cannot be trusted at the moment.

The OP is on v11 though. Those issues, IIRC, are on recent versions of PT.

Could be related, but I suspect it’s something else.

Hmmm, never had an issue with off-line bounce here, even on the current version

I have not had any issues until now.. And I tried offline bounce again in the same session and it was like normal all of a sudden. But today.. Same thing. The low end tracks disappeared
