Do "supported" machines work right with ASIO?

Do \"supported\" machines work right with ASIO?

Hey guys. I have an unsupported machine (nVidia2 chipset) with a Digi 001.
My setup works fine with DAE, but it fails with the ASIO drivers. That sucks, since I wanted to use both systems. So I have the choice of either:
a) sell my pc
b) buy an asio card
c) buy a 002

Do the supported machines guarantee a correct ASIO functioning?
