Retain Settings on Session Data Import
I'll often have a group of tracks I've refined to a point that I'd like to import that group to be used in another session. Let's say, an acoustic guitar record setup using multiple mics and a DI with dedicated sub & FX tracks. All tracks have been adjusted and balanced to work perfectly with each other. When I do a session data import into another session, though, critical settings are in disarray, such as volume, etc. All automation selections are set to "Read" on import, which is also annoying.
Is there a means by which session data can be imported and maintain all original settings of the tracks? Thanks.

Re: Retain Settings on Session Data Import
Never seen an issue with importing session data if everything is set correctly - do this many times a day. Would need to see the session data import parameters. Also, be sure the tracks you're pulling in are clean; no auto breakpoints anywhere, etc...
