Right oh....i'm getting sick of this...I'm quite new to this forum and am hoping for some answers..I am trying...and I mean trying...without any luck whatso ever..to run m-powered pro tools 7.4 on new machine running windows 7. I have and i3 chip and ample space/ processor speed etc..I am aware that there has been issues...and that plenty others have voiced this....but I wanted to add mine...as I recently bought the pc...and it's a scan computer...therefore cost me alot and I am unable to run the very programme I had fgreat hgopes for.....arrrrgh..please help...the error message on loading is 0x00000005...or there abouts...not sure how many zeros there are...plllleeeeaaasseee heeeellllllpppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

X Note that all opinions, observations, whatever, in this post are mine, unless I'm being mean or am wrong, in which case it's somebody else's fault. I do not work for Avid (their loss)...my only relationship with Avid is that of a customer (when I'm not too poor to buy stuff, like now)...and that hot administrative assistant...that's more of a "thing" than a "relationship" (that should keep them guessing for a while... ![]() Just rockin'...what more is there? Thanks. It does seem ridiculous though that this can not be solved. I'm not a computer engineer or programmer, but surely Microsoft and Avid can sort it out and publish a fix. I know I'm not the only one with this problem. Fortunately I have cubase LE4 on my machine and this works absolutely fine....not one single issue...dosen't matter how many plug-ins etc I'm using. I find that a tad strange...Anyway, I will just need to keep using Cubase...as they seem to have it right...

There already is a fix...it's called Pro Tools 9, available at your favorite Avid dealer...

sound advice indeed...but i can't afford it mate..so that's not gonna work with me.......i would prefer a more practical and cost free solution..not added expense...and a practical answer...not an obvious...costly...and utterly impracticable advert, but thanks.
