www.avid.com

Right there they will tell you that 7.4 is not compatible with Win 7...

I do not work for Avid (their loss)...my only relationship with Avid is that of a customer (when I'm not too poor to buy stuff, like now)...and that hot administrative assistant...that's more of a "thing" than a "relationship" (that should keep them guessing for a while...)

Just rockin'...what more is there?

Thanks. It does seem ridiculous though that this can not be solved. I'm not a computer engineer or programmer, but surely Microsoft and Avid can sort it out and publish a fix. I know I'm not the only one with this problem. Fortunately I have cubase LE4 on my machine and this works absolutely fine....not one single issue...dosen't matter how many plug-ins etc I'm using. I find that a tad strange...Anyway, I will just need to keep using Cubase...as they seem to have it right...

There already is a fix...it's called Pro Tools 9, available at your favorite Avid dealer...

sound advice indeed...but i can't afford it mate..so that's not gonna work with me.......i would prefer a more practical and cost free solution..not added expense...and a practical answer...not an obvious...costly...and utterly impracticable advert, but thanks.
