Default Elgato work with Protools?

Does anyone have experience with the Elgato drivers and software. My specific question is , can the Steamdeck + dials be assigned to faders in ProTools? the new one has 4 dials and I wanna assign them to busses in my template, so I can adjust DME on the fly....

Greetings,

While the Stream Deck products are insanely useful and recommended - with or without SoundFlow, that particular use case is not going to work. Most people augment their Stream Deck device with some kind of dedicated Network or MIDI based surface which includes at least a single fader.

best,

Jeff

I dont mix in that room, its just for editing, I like the Apogee interface i have but would love to have a mute/level control on the DME busses, just for monitoring checks etc...

It's not a physical control but you can do it with Avid Control on a tablet. Either from the Mixer page or you can do just the mutes from the Tracks page.

There is a MIDI plugin for the Stream Deck which can emulate an MCU but not HUI. It looks pretty programmable though so maybe not impossible.

Then there is Soundflow...

So it could work but not plug and play.
