\"unable to load directio\"
I am having a real difficult time figuring this out. Everytime I try to launch "Digidesign coreaudio setup", I receive an error:
Unable to load directIO. make sure all required digidesign components are installed. I want only to use the "stand-alone" core audio driver with my digi 001 and simply use Itunes. I recently upgraded to OSX 10.2.8 and do not have a new version of Protools so I downloaded the standalone core driver 6.1.2. I have unistalled, reinstalled half a dozen times and I still get the same results. I am stumped. Any ideas? Thanks, Cadenl

Go back to 10.2.6.
10.2.8 is not supported yet.

Hey! I finally got it working!
I manually uninstalled the core audio drivers, created a new admin. account, disabled anit-virus software, drank a beer, and reinstalled. PRESTO CHANGO! IT WORKED! I guess OSX v10.2.8 is supported with the "stand-alone" drivers v6.1.2, all I know is that my tannoy's are sounding very nice! Cadenl
