Default Malfunctioning ProTools! (please help!)

My ProTools LE has really been
misbehaving lately.

At some point during a session, the keyboard
ceases to function correctly.

For instance, if I grab a section of track
and press delete, it opens the "Close Program"
box. Pressing other buttons results in a beeping
noise.

And then...after a bit of this...it just
goes to RESTART.

I have lost takes because of this and now
I'm saving every two seconds as a precauation.

Anyone seen this behavior before?
Any suggestions?

Thanks!
