New iMac
Thinking of upgrading to PT12 but need a new iMac. How does this look for a new one as far as specs.
Summary 21.5-inch iMac 2.8GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor, Turbo Boost up to 3.3GHz 16GB 1867MHz LPDDR3 1TB Fusion Drive

pt loves i7....instead of i5 processors,
and fusion drives are pure poison for pt. get a 4 core i7 , a HD or SSD for OS +PT and a seperate HD for Audio instead, btw memory is fine, lol regards

Since Macs can't be downgraded to older OS versions, make sure PT can run on whatever software version your new Mac supports.

Just got up and running with the iMac below. This replaced a 27" i3 iMac running PT 12.4. OS X 10.9.5. I am surprised how well the i3 ran but, there was some GUI lag....
