Default can I use M Audio Project Mix w/ PT 11?

trying to upgrade after getting PT11 and I can't even get Windows 7 to see the interface. Any suggestions at all? I've taken a little time off but feel like I'm starting at square one

Did you download the latest driver? The latest driver for this is actually from 2012, they haven't updated since. But it is for Windows 7.

Given the 002 is not supported with 11, this may be a moot point, but there are other reasons why might not work. Was it working on this computer before or is this the first time trying it at all(with ANY version of PT)? Changing the firewire driver for the computer is worth a try. If you go to Device Manager and select the FW controller, then select Update Driver, you can select(can't remember the exact commands) to "Let me choose from a list" and you should see 3 drivers; Legacy, TI Compliant and a 3rd I can never remember. While Avid recommends the Legacy driver, it doesn't work with my 003. The TI Compliant driver is the one that works here. Of course, this assumes you have a compatible FW controller with a TI chipset. If you have a VIA chip, it may never work. It may be worth posting a Sandra report as described in the "Help us Help You" thread found near the top of this page

Thanks for the help. It's a new computer, put together by a local business. Pretty sure they didn't stock the firewire card w/ the TI chipset so I'll probably have to get that first. I'll post back w/ more info when I have it.
thanks!

My projectmix works fine with PT 11.

Important as mentioned before:
- Firewire chipset from TI
- choose legacy driver in windows device manager

HUI isn´t officially supported by avid anymore but it still runs.
