Default dynamat extreme pc kit...worth it?

Just wondering if any of you guys have used the dynamat extreme computer kit in any of your builds and if you found it to be worth the money?

I'm currently putting together a new pro tools machine and am now getting an Antec P183 case and plan on upgrading the fans to noctuas, but i'm wondering if you guys reckon it would be worth putting a dynamat extreme computer kit on the inside of this case to reduce potential noise and vibrations?

Cheers

Iv never heard of it, and iv never tried it. But anything to make your PC quieter is something to look in to. I would look into Vantec Stealth fans as well. Extremely quiet while pushing about 60 CFM.

I have an Antec P183 case, with a Seasonic X-650 power supply, one Scythe fan for exhaust and a zalman cooler for the cpu.
It's dead quiet. Sometimes I'm unsure if it's even on, so highly doubt the dynamat will make a difference.

Look into quiet fans first as Nick suggested.

Well I'm going with a Corsair 750W HX-750 ATX PSU and will be changing the two standard exhaust fans to Noctua NF-S12B-FLX 120mm fans. So should be ncie and quiet...I hope...

Make sure you test out the power supply under a full load before you go taking it apart to replace the fans... Doing so will void the warranty...

Sorry, I didn't mean replace the PSU fan...I'll be leaving that as is. I'll only be replacing the case fans.

From what I understand Seasonic makes a lot of the Corsair PSUs so I recommend checking the Seasonics out. It's also fully modular and the fan doesn't even start under 2-300w, making it quiet as a church mouse :) which may or may not be a good thing depending on if your going to put a lot of HDDs in the lower compartment.
