SSL and Eleven missing in PT8

I can't seem to get either of theses plugs to appear in PT8.
I have reinstalled Waves SSL4000 1.2 a couple of times and it is still absent from the list. It is present in the Waves folder.
API is fine.
Also Digidesign Eleven plug is missing. It is in the plug folder but does not show up.
Should I do a complete re install?

I spoke with waves today and they said none of their plug-ins were compatable with PT 8 yet.
I responded by telling him thats not what dig is saying. He said to keep checking the Waves site for updates....

Aparently most people don't have a problem though..

Both working fine here (I only got the SSL native, but Eleven TDM).

Yeah I think if SSL wasn't working for other people then all hell would have broken out, but I seem to be on my own.

Strange about eleven though. All the AIR plugs are there but no eleven.

Try going through the steps in the PT8 sticky thread, you could miss something during install.

Wasn't there suppose to be a scaled down version of Eleven in PT8? Sorry to take this off post. Or, are you talking about a free version of Eleven?

There is a plug in the plugin folder called "Eleven-Free" but it won't show up on the list within PT 8.

Perhaps one of you Waves gurus can shed some light on this SSL problem.
In my plugins folder I have 3 wave shells:
5.7
5.9.5.1
5.9.6

My guess is that one each is for:

API
GTR
SSL

But I could be wrong.

I have removed one at a time but SSL still doesn't show up.

You need Waves V6 for PT8

k... I must have missed that one. Eleven is there. It's a mono plugin (RTAS) Only. As far as SSL, you need V6.
All is good here....
