Default Pro Tools 2018.4 Hardware Insert Problem

The hardware inserts on the Mono channels are not working properly. It has input but no output. The Stereo inserts are working fine. I tried the hardware inserts on Studio One 3 and its working just fine on Mono and Stereo just to confirm the hardware is hook up correctly. Both are on there same rig. I double checked the I/O settings and everything is as it should be. Can someone check this and see if it's working on your system?

I went back to 2018.1 and all is good again. I wonder if this is a bug. Can someone try this for me and see if it is working for you?

Hardware inserts work fine here(both mono and stereo). At first glance, I'd suspect its something in the UA "mixer"(but I have no experience with it). What are you trying to insert? The reason I ask(and no offense is intended) is that often a new/inexperienced user will be jumping thru hoops to get some cheapo hardware inserted when there are a dozen plugins that will do the job as good(or better) without the hassle I dropped $1K or so on a new tt bay with all the associated cables and hardware so I could do hardware inserts, and in the year or so I have had the capability, I have yet to actually use any, beyond testing to make sure it all works

It also works fine on Studio One 3 on the same rig same hardware.

Also I use inserts all the time for out board gear since version 9. I don’t know why all of a sudden it’s not working.

I’m going to trash preferences and reinstall 2018.4 and see what happens.

Though I have tons of plug-ins there are times when I still want to use hardware for certain things.

I trashed preferences reinstalled 2018.4 and all is good again. Thanks for verifying it for me. Odd! I think it might have happen when I previously restored preferences. It must have been an old backup.
