Default Running Pro Tools from Remote Desktop??

I can get it going, but once I hit the play button, pro tools becomes unresponsive, have to log in on the host computer to get it to respond to buttons and commands. Really need a way to control PT from the live room, I have a tranzport but there are still so many reasons I have go back and forth from the control room. I have a laptop mounted right on my drums for my midi controllers so It would be ideal if I could get this working. Think my c24 could be causing the problem?

Get a second monitor with extenstion cable (or dual out graphics card), then get wireless keyboard and mouse... then its same computer in both rooms.

This is my choice and it works great. I use a combo keyboard/trackpad on long PS2 cables. The the VGA out of my edit screen goes to a VGA splitter($36) and feeds a long cable out to a second screen(same resolution) at my drumkit.

Ya I thought of that too, but it would have just been a heck of a lot easier to use my laptop with the whole setup I have. I have a few spare flat pannels so Im just going to go that route, seems to be the most hassel free way to do it. Thanks guys!
