Default mixing accell and Hd cards ?

I have a HD4 system.in the magma 64 bit chassis.
1 core 2 accel and 1 HD IN in that order
I am getting the DAE error # 7224 message(plugin reshuffling problem) when trying to reopen sessions that played and bounced perfectly .
then PT quits
these sessions still have at least 5 or 6 free chips on the last HD card.
about half of the plugins I am using are Hd compatible .
I am also able to rebuild the session importing the tracks carefully in a new session

Is there a way to force the use of the HD card DSP for the plug that can use it?

Do I need to start my session track lay out with the accel only plugins ?

Can I force a reshuffle of the plugins ?

Is it an issue with mixing Accel and HD ?

Should I try moving my Hd card on the second slot after the core card ?

these session do not have any Rtas plugins or instuments.
on today session that crashed I used the latest version of
waves eq4 L3 delay ,Mc DSp eq and comp, eventide verb, trillum lane verb, uad la2a,1176.pultec and DUY valve

Hi,

the only 'normal' way to assign plug-ins to the card is the track order from top to button. So you can try to have all plugs that use the process card have on top.
There is another way, but this is a very cumbersome workaround. You can 'lock' the chips in the
system usage window with some ctrl/command click on the 'gauge'. I don't remember if the combination is right, you have to try.
This way you start your session with unused 'locked' slots of the Accel cards and whenever an Accel chip is needed you 'unlock' it.

But as I said, this is very, very cumbersome and you need to inactivate your tracks before saving a session...

hope that helps...
