Bellari MP110, $169.00 at Music123.com. Possibly even cheaper on eBay. I've got two of them, they sound great for the price.

I'm still just learning, but is it possible to hook up a pre amp to the digidesign stuff.
I thought the M-Box, 001, 002 were all preamps among other things.
I have the M-Box, how would I go about hooking up a pre to it?

Thanks.

I agree that the ART Studio V3 is probably the best option(if we are talking cheap) warm sounding and low noise less than 150€ (europe)

Connecting a pre to the different Digidesign products is fine. Though using an external preamp and then connect it to a Digidesign preamp is just making thinsg worse. But using an external preamp to a line in is required to make the signal strong enough.
