Default Protools 10 Exporting questions

Hello.

I am currently in charge of conforming audio on a Protools 10 system and was wondering if there is a way to export a Quicktime file with the same settings as the one in the session, but with four tracks of audio? So, for example, if you were to drag it into another protools session, the newly created quick time would have 4 mono tracks (or even 2 stereo tracks?). Is this possible outside of video editing software?

Let me know!

Thanks.

CJ

Bounce to QuickTime will only give you two audio tracks... Why not do a save as and just create the session you are speaking of...
If you are looking for an easy way to just import the qt and have the desired audio tracks, you may need to export the qt then export the audio as omf.

I'm trying to create a quicktime with 4 tracks because the client needs a quicktime with english audio on tracks 1 and 2 and spanish audio on tracks 3 and 4. There is no way to export something like this from pro tools? Are there any other pieces of software (other than MC or FCP) that can do this?

Quicktime Pro (7) will let you add additional audio tracks to a video. You can bounce or export your 2 stereo or 4 mono tracks from PT, then open them in QT Pro, and then use the "Add to Movie" option to paste them into your master QT video.
