HD 2 Accell,.....voice,. eh DSP? Newbie???

Okay newbie question begin:

I have an Apple G5 DP 2.0 with 5GB RAM running Pro Tools 7.4
Mac OS X 4.11

Pro Tools HD-2 Accell, with a Digi 192.

The project I am currently mixing (ITB) has the following:
48000/ 24bit session

26 stereo audio tracks

62 mono tracks

12 Aux's

i/o---3-4 going to Hardware reverb

Using mostly TDM plug-ins (Digi-Rack EQ III) BF, + four Auto tune 4's
And a few Waves plugs (RTAS)

Hi,

You can set the minimum amount of DSP's for the voices you require! If you start to encounter error messages than you might have to make more DSP available for voices. there's no performance gain as such having more DSP's allocated.

I used to run many sessions on 2 dsp 96 voices with no problems. you might get away with 96 voices or you may need 128 for your current session
