Pro Tools 7.4 Sync Issues with MPC 2000xl

I'm trying to track out my music via midi/audio (mbox 2) from my mpc 2000xl into pro tools. I'm trying to do it so pro tools is the master device that triggers my mpc. I followed the directions on how to sync using the MIDI clock but when it records in, it's off a tick or two. for example the kick drum on the one count is really a little before it. the tempos are both the same and i followed the directions but its still a little off. please help anyone! thanks

roland fantom xr module
mbox 2
pro tool le 7.4
vista ultimate

hi scot, have you tried tweaking h/w buffer size. but then again, you're saying it's before where it should be? is this right?

yeah its before. everything runs smooth, no hiccups or anything. im just so frustrated because nobody knows lol

Everything looks right until u look at the grid and its a tiny bit off.

I've had to set it up where my pro tools is the slave and its real real ugly.

Im just at a point where I really dnt know what to do. I've had to switch back to reason just to get some arrangments sent out.
