Default PT 6.1 Upgrade

Hey. Will the 6.1 upgrade be a free upgrade? Just wondering.

On the Mac side.. upgrades were about $75. At least on the PC side, there shouldn't be a cost involved in plug-in upgrades.

Hello. This may be one of those times when Administrators should step in. They do this every blue moon or so. When 6.0 was being trotted out for Mac's back in February, free upgrades were sent to people who bought and registered a system, any system, after Oct. At that time, Digidesign said that they would hold that end of the deal for PC based systems. So, if you bought and registered a PC system after Oct '02, you SHOULD get the upgrade free. However, I don't know if they will hold this up.
