Mbox Mini 2 DISTORTION!!

hi,

My mini some how distorts. dont know why, i thought i didnt had enuff ram. im using mcpro quad core (2.66x2 dual core xeon) osx 10.5. my ram was 7 gb but now ive upgraded to 13 gb. its still distorting and giving "CPU over loads" (error -6101 ) and that i have to increase the hadware buffer size. but my buffersize is already 2048, 95%, and 4 cores. I have CHECKED the boxes "ignore errors during play back and minimize aditional I/O latensy", DAE play back buffer is set to level 2, and cache size is set to NORMAL. PLUGin streaming buffer set to LEVEL 2 as well. and box checked" optimise for streaming contect on audio drives"
The list of plugins im using is

UAD NEVE 1073,
Waves SSL channel + SSL EQ
STYLUS RMX
ATA
TL space
Sonalksis Stereo

and on my MIX BUSS im using, Analog Channel1, R compressor and Analog ch 2,

dont know wat the reason is.. sound distorts for few seconds, and then comes back to normal. and then distorts again... its just getting on my nerves now.

try these settings:

85% CPU
3 cores
uncheck ignore errors

then trash your preferences and digi databases, empty trash and restart.

are you referring to intermittent blasts of white noise?
