Default Upgrading MacOS and ProTools

Hi to everyone,
anyone of you could help me?
I have some question about the upgrade of the OS and PT.
I want to install on my G4 933 OS x 10.3.4 and PT 6.2.3
I have the original disk of Mac OS 10.3 and PT 6.0
Witch is the correct procedure to make the upgrade?
I have just Upgraded OS 10.3.2. and then I've installed PT 6 and then the 6.2.3, but PT didn't start.
Probably I have make some errors.... witch is your opinion? Thanks....

Read the troubleshooting thread at the top of this forum as it contains good information. The first thing that comes to mind is to repair disk permissions with Disk Utility.

Hi Stefano

what chief tecnician say is right

you must download from apple site the right upgrade pack there's an upgrade from different 10.3.x to 10.3.4, read the istructions.

after upgrade, if don't work, try also delete all digidesign databases in all of your HDs and trash the PT preferences also.

good luck

Stefano

hi stefano

ok parliamo italiano

Stefano
