Problems with ProTools 6.2.3
Hi to everyone,
please I need help because I can't work with my Protools..... this is my sistem: G4 933, 1.50 Gb ram, HD3, 192 I/O, Control24, Atto Express PCI DC, Nvidia GForce 4 (as shipped on my G4), Mac OS 10.3.2, ProTools 6.2.3. So, I have updated my OS from 10.3 to 10.3.2, then I've installed ProTools 6 and the reletives update 6.1 and 6.2.3 without any problems (I have not installed the HD Pack plugin, only the Digirack), but when I run PT it doesn't start. After 2 or 3 times that I've runned a windows says to me that the application ProTools is it closed. What I must do? Digi please answer me as soon as possible because I must do a work and I don't know how!!!! Thanks

Uninstall PT, and install the OS 10.3.5 update. Then run the PT installer again.

Bricoleur is right: 6.2 requires Jaguar, not Panther.

It's strange, because I've read in compato page thet PT 6.2.3 work with OS 10.3.2.... but I don't understand if it works with G4 or G5!!!
If it was so, I can't use PT 6.3.2..... only 6.2.2 with Jaguar! What can you say to me? Thanks for your kindness

update to 10.3.4 do not go to 10.3.5
repair permissions using Apple Disk Utility reset the PRAM I have almost 20 rigs running 6.2.3 on 10.3.4 w/o problems

Ok Craiq.... I'll do as you say.... but are you sure that it's ok for G4 933?
And another question: is it correct the following procedure? I install OS 10.3, then the Upgrade to 10.3.4, then PT 6.0, than the upgrade to PT 6.2.3 Please help me because I must do a recording session..... Thanks again.....bye
