Default Pro Tools Studio crashes trying to load the "Core Plug-ins" during startup

i started off with pro tools 12 on MacOS Mojave. I was making music with my friend who hooked up his maschine to my i mac. after making beats on FL Studio 20 we dragged the stems to Pro Tools 12.

After we saved and closed the session i reopened it it crashed and gave me this message - "The application pro tools has quit unexpectedly. The system and other applications have not been affected." - I get this message when I start up pro tools 12.

I was successfiul at getting another session to open which clearly showed the beat stems was what was crashing the system. after several trials nothing could get pro tools 12 to open anymore. Moved the plugins into the unused plugins. Still no help.

I went thru and checked every plugins, Upgraded from Mojave to Ventura. Ive trashed the preferences, upgraded to pro tools studio. Upgraded my MacOS to Ventura 13.0.i Still stumped.

Your description isn’t very clear at all. Are you trying to get Pro Tools 12 to run on Ventura???
You also have provided no information about your exact hardware setup. We need very specific details to be able to help.

If you could zip and post the dumpfile output that may help as well.

Hi, welcome to the community.

You must refer to 2022.12, right? PT12 is ancient already. Compatibility info here.

My apologies and thank you for the steadfast replies. Im pretty new to this. I was using Pro Tools 12 on my 2015 I Mac with a Apollo twin X interface. After the crash came about I replaced pro tools 12 and purchased Pro Tools Studio and upgraded my macOS from Mojave to Ventura thinking that the upgrade would solve the problem. I was doing fine with what I had and felt no need to needing to upgrade. But I did with no luck.

Well I would try by moving all your plug-ins out of;
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/
to a temporary location.
Trash your preferences
Bring up Pro Tools, see if it gets off the ground.
If yes then start moving your plug-ins back into;
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/
Maybe 10 at a time. Bringing PT up after each addition.
Let us know how it goes.

If you get a dumpfile when this happens highlight it, copy it to Textedit and save it as a pdf. (I mispoke, zip files are not valid here)
Then use attach files at the bottom to load it up here.
