Default Soundminer v4.1.8.27 not playing back in protools 8

Hi,

for the life of me i just cant get the transport to playback in soundminer since switching to leopard and protools 8 HD. The library is there, I can scroll through the waveforms and drag and drop into protools, rewire says its connected but no transport playback whatsoever within soundminer.

any ideas?

Have you contacted Steve and Justin about this?

techsupport(at)soundminer.com

They are usually pretty quick at tracking down issues.

Other than that then. The version I'm using is 4.1.8.30 which installs an updated Rewire engine when you open it for the first time.

Not sure if it's on the FTP site but might be worth a look.

I know i'm not alone, why not just use the optical out from your computer, into the spidf of your 192 or 96? then change the clock to spidf on the preferences page, and walla.... you then don't have to deal with rewire at all.

It's rewire versions issue for sure. in the SM's FTP it's 4.1.8.27. where did you get the .30 version? I think you need to trash the rewire stuff and reinstall the .27 version.

Good luck

Rafi
