Default what virtual drums to use for pt 7.3

Hi, I am using a mac pro 6 gigs of ram, but my version is 7.3 and i am using the older OSx (believe 10.4)
recently I am in need of using somthing like steve slate , bfd or some other virtual drums. I do have a DW jazz kit, but the m iked sounds i get still dont sound as good as I would like. What can i use with out updating my system, my rig is very stable thats why i never upgraded,

any help is appreciated

Maybe try BFD lite version that came with PT - I don't know however if it's going to be compatible with your Tiger O/S

If u want it bad enough - u will up grade :->

BFD2 - sounds so awesome I can believe i still mik sets !!!

It's probably b/c infant afford that nice set of v-drums do push the VI

Would you thin k I need an upgrade? I know my OSx is out of date but it all works well
Should I look at plug ins / drum software and just see if any is compatible?
do you know of any that is compatible? I do use the lite bfd that came with it but need more
really feel out of my element lol

EZ Drummer by Toontrack will work on OSX10.4 with versions older that v1.3. So I guess version 1.2XX is the last version that will work with OSX 10.4

Perhaps Superior Drummer will work on 10.4 with the right version, but I don't know.

Superior Drummer seems to be respected for it's easy of use with V-Drums and also that it 'sits in the mix' nicely.

Saying that, there's plenty of BFD users who would disagree.

Thanks for the info, are there new programs that r compatible with PT 7.3 also where can you buy older versions of bfd and others
