Default EdiLoad v3 released

We're pleased to announce the release of EdiLoad v3 which contains a new compare window to find what has changed when pictures are updated (EdiTrace no longer required).

New change window can:
  • Use 'Match Name' field to store clean Clip Names when comparing visual fx shots
  • Test VFX clip name cleaning settings before performing a compare
  • Compare multiple old versions to easily find deleted shots
  • Compensate where possible for changes to pictures running at different speeds
  • Save and Load edit lists and settings to a single Project file
  • Display changes graphically in overview window
  • Use unique comparison algorithm to find changes between multi-layer edit lists
  • Batch load edit lists from folders

EdiLoad v2 users:

EdiLoad v2 license holders can upgrade to version 3 free of charge before the end of November 2013.

For more information and video see the EdiLoad product page.

Just a quick word of thanks to Mark - I'm an EdiLoad newbie. The manual's a little daunting, but Mark's support has been absolutely superb.

It's just made a compilation episode a joy - something like 80 clips from half a dozen episodes which it has placed correctly (or as correctly as the EDL would let it). Also helped hugely in a recut where all I had were the guide tracks to go on. Very glad to have EdiLoad in the arsenal.
