Default Sync I/O Word Clock Output

Here's one that I'm not sure about,

IF the Sync I/o is fed word clock from an external Word Clock generator and ProTools is referenced to LTC (0) as its' clock source and LTC as its' positional reference and that time code coming in from a JSK may have variences (it is chasing a film projector), will the Word Clock coming out of the Sync I/o change its' rate to try and match the time code speed or stay a constant 48k like it is being fed from its' external word clock generator?
