Automated Patch/Effects Changes in PT
Hey Everyone,
I'm considering picking up an Eleven Rack for live use. Currently we run our whole set with backing tracks on PT LE. I was wondering: Can you automate the Eleven Rack to switch patches/effects/settings in Pro Tools 9? Thanks in advance! BTW ::: Anyone else using the Eleven rack in a live setting? BTW ::: Here is a video detailing how I run everything through PT LE live: http://youtu.be/fYkSe85qRkE Shane The New Loud |

jamsire: you're killin' it in your vid. I love it! I can honestly say this thought has never crossed my meager mind. As if I don't already have enough to do... Very Nice!

The only thing that actually annoys me is that AVID names the banks and patches with a letter first, then a number from 1-4 - which is >>silly<<. So patch B5 is program change number 004. I like in PT that you can always have the track number visible so you can always see and refer to it on your console, no matter which tracks you hide or re-arrange. In 11R, it appears to me that you may have to put the midi program change number in front of the patch name so can always know which preset you want.
