Is there a shortcut for applying cross fade to several clps at once ??? thx

Select all the clips, then hit F (if Command Focus is on) or Command/Control+F, which will bring up the batch fade dialog.

And in the fade dialog you can choose, with the three checkboxes, to create crossfades, fade in+out and to modify the existing fades independently.
