How much is needed from this report to trouble shoot? I'm having problems with buffer increase/decrease errors. I've done everything recomended thus far. This is a reformat and clean installation. Thank you.

As I posted in your other thread.. you don't have a QUALIFIED FireWire card installed.

thanks Rail,

I posted that by accident in the mac forum first. When I realized it, I was putting it in the right forum as you were responding...

Thanks for looking at it! With the hardware buffer increase/decrease errors; is not having a "qualified" firewire port a known issue? For the past two years those have been the only error prompts I've been getting; but have been making it impossible to create a positive work flow. Thanks for your time and help!!!

Yes -- you need a FireWire card which is qualified and has a compatible chipset -- your onboard VIA chipset FireWire card is definately a problem.

You didn't list your Digidesign hardware so I assume you have an 002.
