setting up turntable > mbox 3 > maschine
hi, please could someone tell me the best way to connect a turntable to the mbox 3..... i understand i need either a preamp or a dj mixer otherwise the signal will be too quiet.... but the analogue inputs at the front of the mbox 3 these 1/4-inch TS inputs are for connecting an electric guitar or bass...
i've heard alot of people slagging off turntables with spdif outs saying that you should stay with analogue for a better quality signal... ideally i'd like to sample live into maschine logic or pro tools le8 if this is possible here's pics of the front and back of the mbox 3 http://www.dv247.com/news/Avid%20Pro...box%203/132573 there's two (TRS) mic/line inputs... has anyone here tried these with a dj mixer with good results? could someone shed some light on this matter for me please.. Thanks in advance! Last edited by mjhann83; 06-08-2011 at 12:17 PM. Reason: add more info |
