Default OK Symphonic Choirs enthusiasts????

Hi all again,

Right, has anybody successfully got Symphonic Choirs to work in ProTools 7.2.1???

Have tried their Forum (EastWest Quantum Leap) but it seems to have hit a dead end.

I have followed their tutorials (Video included) but the MIDI notes just seem to stick in ProTools...something to do with the notes off (MIDI) not working with this Plug-In - Symphonic Choirs.

Having to use it in LogicPro which is fine but would like to have the best of both worlds.

Ta for anybodies energy into this.

Speak soon.

Phill

For me, it works well in everything I've tried it in with the exception of PT. Your other option is to simply run it on another computer in a shell application and just treat it like an external synth.

i have been able to use it successfully in PT 7.2cs1 -- i take it you are on a MAC INTEL with 7.2.1 .... it works just fine on my dual 2.5 and i have had it in BIG sessions with other EWQLSO instruments.

sorry, this nit is not much help.

TTFN.

Oh right,

so we have one user who is experiencing the same problems and we have another who is successful.........hmmmmm.

Interesting.

Are you sure your notes don't stick? Would you care to run through your setup?

Would be eternally grateful.

7.2.1 is for MACPRO. i am on a MAC dual. is that the difference?

right, my notes do not stick.

HD|2 ACCELL, PT 7.2cs1, OS 10.4.6, 6.5 G RAM, mac dual 2.5G machine, samples on an external 1 Terrabyte FW 800 drive. i have the latest version of Symphonic Choirs, EWQLSO Platinum XP, IVORY, KONTAKT, KOMPAKT...

does that help? need more?
