Re: ProTools 8 - Input Monitoring "Off"
I found one workaround to the issue of Mpowered's lack of a "no input monitoring" option. I got my Frontier wireless Tranzport remote configured with Mpowered and all I have to do for punch in/out work is press "mute" and "record" on the Tranzport at the same time. The buttons are fairly close together so it's an easy one handed motion, plus they toggle so as long as you hit them both you can quickly punch in/out without the artist hearing any odd delays.
That works for one channel punches. Not sure if you can link options like mutes or punches between channels but I bet that's possible also. |
