syncing Reason essentials using Pro tools MP 9
When I attempt to run reason the pro tools, it is not automatically scyned via rewire. Everything I read says this happens automatically so that playback functions and tempo are controlled thru pro tools with reason in slave mode. This is not happening. I create an audio track in pro tools and select the insert for reason essentials. Rewire opens reason but it is not in slave mode and not synced to the prop tools tempo. I am relatively new to this. Is there a setting that I am missing, because everything I read says this should just happen automatically. Any help would be great.
