Need Help w/ OSX keyboard shortcuts
I'm trying to set up a shortcut in the OSX Keyboard System pref (10.3.7) for "Import Audio to Track…" in PT, but not having any luck with it. Anybody have any experience with this? Much appreciated.

I tried doing this exact shortcut with the keystroke control+shift+I. It didn't work. I changed it to control+shift+D and it did work. Try changing the key combination to see if that makes a difference.

I don't know. . . I tried a bunch of different key combos, including the one you just recommended and still nothing. I also tried setting up a shortcut for another function besides Import Audio to Track and couldn't get that to work either. Is there a setting within PT to recognize OSX shortcuts or something? I feel like I must be missing something obvious.
PT 6.7cs8 OS 10.3.7

Anyone find a key-combo that OSX recognizes for 'Hide Pro Tools' ? This one is driving me mad that I cant use a shortcut for it. It just wont recognize my entry in Keyboard Shortcuts.

Just an update:
My shortcut for Import Audio to Track is now operational -- somehow b/w Friday and Monday it showed up in the PT pull down menu. Could activating a new OSX shortcut require a restart??? Easily verifiable, but I don't really have time for it at this point. Good troubleshooting tip for anyone else who's been having issues with this though. And also, for the previous poster, cmd-H DOES NOT hide PT, it does however Heal Separation.
