PT Install on Mac (for maximum stability)
I'm doing an HD system install on a brand new G5. Since the Mac is going to be used exclusively for music, is it advisable to delete applications that are not used? (Iphoto, mail app, etc). I'm running Delocalizer to get rid of the extraneous languages.
If anyone has any additional tips (besides those Digi's list) please share here.

Re: PT Install on Mac (for maximum stability)
When I got my G5 D2G, I did an erase and install (english only / no print drivers), just to save some space. I used the software updater to get current, and then installed PT. That’s it - no problems to report.

Re: PT Install on Mac (for maximum stability)
Yeah, I was thinking about doing that. I guess that would eliminate the need for Delocalizer and having to delete all the Apple apps (since you can specify --for instance-- to only install itunes.
