red png flags

i updated ptle 8 to 8.0.3 and now my icons are being replaced by red png flags . i went back to ptle 8 ( system restore ) but they are still there . i'm on xp sp3 . dell dimension 9250 dual core with 4gb ram . still works but is rather frustrating . anyone else had this problem . eddie
