Laptops Chipsets Help!!

Hello everyone, i really need some advice in here...

Im looking a Laptop and ive seen some Dell's and Vaio's, with

my research i've found that the available chipsets(with new laptops) are:

945GSE
945GM
GM/PM 965

I really dont know what to do.... if anyone knows about them working with an USB interface (mini mbox) please let me know.....

there are problems with the processor and ram??
I'll will make the downgrade yo Win Xp, SOny offers the Dvd to make te downgrade with your system, also Dell has the drivers online so you can avoid Vista..
