Need help - license activate

Hi I'm kinda confused - I read that new licenses were required at 12.6 - found this out when 12.4 non stop instant quit, so OK install new. Says needs new licenses and surrender old. Check ILok there's the new licenses, surrender activate the new ones OK I do that ... they show activated (Perpetual)- Launch PT - Pro Tools says they're not activated. So what do I do. I read what I've been able to find and it's pretty opaque. Or maybe I'm obtuse but in any event I need a hand.

The following “fix” usually works:

Check your PACE License Support version – see if you have the latest version 5.3.2


If not, delete your earlier version of PACE License Support


Run the free CCleaner: https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner-mac
Then run CCleaner Registry, as many times as it takes to no longer find issues to fix.

Restart computer

Install PACE LicenseSupportInstallerMac_v5.3.2
https://www.ilok.com/#!license-manager

Restart computer

In iLok License Manager (ILM), right-click on Pro Tools 12.6 and select “Deactivate”
In “Available Licenses”, right-click on Pro Tools 12.6 and select “Activate” and move your license to your iLok

In the left-hand column of ILM, right-click on your iLok and select “Synchronize”

Close ILM

Restart computer

Launch Pro Tools

Please post back in this Thread if the above fix does not work for you

I don't see 12.6 in my Ilok manager - I see activated PT 10 11 12 and Perpetual.

Did you have a current Upgrade Plan in late Sept 2016?
If so, you should have received Pro Tools 12.6

Were you only licensed up to 12.4?
