Default Canada broadcast standard levels...

hi Pro People in Canada
simpel quistion from nothern europe. What are the standards levels in canada broadcast. - 20db for calib I guess, peak at +6 db ??

Well, it's kinda like asking how fast does a car go?

Depends on the car, doesn't it.

The problem is that different Broadcasters have different specs.
So, you need to ask for delivery requiremts from the client.

Like Hench says, levels vary from Broadcaster to broadcaster, but on average -20 dBfs is the reference level with -10 dBfs peak. In my recent experience though I have deleivered mixes to Fox at -3peak and CTV at -12peak. Make sure you or your client gets delivery specs from the broadcaster.
