disabling PDC not really disabled?
Hi folks..
I was mixing a song with PDC enabled (long), and wanted to do some more tracking 'after the fact'. In order to get the ability to record with Quickpunch (without PT complaining about running out of voices etc) I need to disable PDC. So I went to options and disabled PDC, but my Accel card still shows mxrlngdlys 25% (or whatever it was, I'm at home now). Why isn't the PDC being completely disabled and removed from my HD CPUs? thanks!

Re: disabling PDC not really disabled?
You turned it off, you didn't disable it. One is done in the pulldown menu and is meant to be temporary but still hold the DSP in reserve so it's avail when you need to turn it back on. Disabling is done in the Playback Engine window and is meant for when you won't need it ever again and want the DSP to be made avail for voices and plugs.
